Louisburg NC Model A collection

The Louisburg Collection was the end result of a lifetime labor of love. The owner passed away in 2023 in his mid-70s. He collected cars for his entire adult life, mostly early Model A Fords. I am assisting his family with the task of dispersing the collection to folks who will appreciate them as he did.

What's in the collection?

Cars!
Sheet metal parts, mostly 28/29 but some 30/31
Used original and repro steel & cast iron parts
Glass (Windshields w/frames, rear windows, windwings, and business coupe oval windows)
Steering wheels (almost all 28/29, some repro)
Complete original seats, all kinds
Top wood and complete tops (mostly unknown but some appear to be for RPU and one is marked for '30 roadster)
Sportlites
Cores (sold in bulk) for:
- Carbs
- Water pumps
- Distributors
- ~~Horns~~ (sold!)
- ~~Generators~~ (sold!)
- Crankshafts
- Oil pumps
Brass era fittings

Small items that have significant value are being sold on eBay as they come to light. Remaining items will be sold at the 2024 MARC National swap meet in Asheville in July 2024.
